I started to work with structure 4 years ago and, in my experience, it's a lot better if we first build our free edge extension, of course, we put the nail form, we build with material the free edge extension. It doesn't matter what material you use and after polymerization we take off the form. So this way we can check our extension and we will put less material to build the apex and the full structure. It doesn't matter what material you use, you can use liquid & powder or gel, but the important thing is to use less material and to get closer to a no-file technique or less-file technique.
