Hi, I'm Lisa Boone.
After years of doing gel polish in the salon, I realized that certain colors, every once in a while, will slide around on the base gel, before you've even cured it. So in order to stop that, my way of dealing with it is to take a clean gel brush and clean off the inhibition layer. That will give it a little bit of a rough surface to grab to and not so slick.
Next I use... and I put my gel polish on and before it can start sliding, I flash cure for 3 seconds in the lamp and that always helps a lot. I hope that helps you in the salon.
