MONOMER [mon-uh-mer]

What it is: A one unit molecule that can react to form a polymer chain. In the context of the nail industry, monomer is the liquid used in a liquid and powder acrylic nail enhancement system.
How to use it: Used with polymer powder to create a bead of product to overlay or sculpt a nail enhancement.
How to apply it: Pour monomer into a dappen dish. Dip an acrylic brush into the liquid, allowing the monomer to absorb into the hair, before placing into the powder to pick up a bead of product.
How to store it: Store with lid tightly closed to avoid evaporation, in a cool dry place away from heat and light.
