At just 16, Max entered his first professional nail competition, showcasing his impressive acrylic application skills. His confidence and precision earned him a top 10 placement in his division, igniting a drive to continually enhance his craft. This determination has seen Max placing in every competition he enters, always striving to refine nail shapes and develop technologies that simplify the lives of nail artists.
In 2014, Max achieved his ultimate dream by founding Exclusive Nail Couture Professional. His innovative product line has gained national and global recognition, complementing his mission to elevate the nail care industry. Through his company, Max provides cutting-edge tools and products designed to meet the evolving needs of nail professionals.
Max’s contributions to the industry extend beyond product innovation. Perfect French Nails: White to Pink Transition

Most French enhancement techniques teach the tech to apply white at the free-edge and create the smile line. Then the pink is added to the nail plate and the two are connected. In a reverse application, you add the pink to the nail bed and create a reverse smile line. Some let this dry and file it clean and smooth before adding a form and the white extension. The benefit to this technique is being able to push the white directly against the pink to create a clean line. This technique was originally created for applying cover pink powders. It can also be beneficial when sculpting gel.

John Hauk demonstrates the steps to creating a traditional pink & white nail using the liquid & powder acrylic system. With clear & pink powders and French white nail tips, the tip & overlay technique of enhancement shines. John preps the nail plate with a 180-grit buffer and sizes the nail tip for a perfect, snug fit. Application of the clear bead onto the free edge, followed by the pink bead for the nail plate is showcased, with tips for creating that perfect c-curve and filing hints and tips for creating a perfect salon enhancement.
