CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME

CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME [kaar-pl, tuh-nuhl, sin-drowm]

What it is: A common condition causing pain and numbness of the hand and fingers caused by increased pressure on the median nerve within the carpal tunnel from continual repetitive movements.
