The material is totally biodegradable and can be safely consumed by microorganisms in the soil, thus being transformed into carbon, water and humus. So, instead of the 400 years it takes for regular plastic nail tips to dissolve, the degradation process of this product is approximately 2-3years, in the right conditions.
