Taking up nails at the early age of 16, Ismael has spent the last 10 years building a career in educating across Latin America, while also competing at various events around the world to much acclaim. In 2023, Ismael was invited to collaborate with the toy brand Lego, where he shared his work on a campaign that garnered much attention on Lego's social networks. Collaborating with nail brands has also been a successful enterprise, which has helped Ismael grow his name and following in the world of nails.

Dafne se hizo mundialmente famosa después de asumir el papel de educadora global para Artistic Nail Design de 2012 a 2018. Como técnica campeona, Dafne ha ganado reconocimientos en Orlando, Las Vegas, Pasadena y en la primera Nailympia Canadá en 2019. Dafne es una jueza internacional, que ha educado en Japón, Estados Unidos, China, Turquía, Países Bajos, Reino Unido, Rusia, Bélgica, Brasil, Chile, Nueva Zelanda, Australia y Grecia. También es la presentadora de Nailympia México.

Alex Fox, a journalist since 1993, began her career in photographic journalism. In 1998 she transitioned to the beauty world, working on the first UK trade nail magazine, Nails Plus. In 2003, Alex co-founded Scratch magazine, the UK's only trade title for nail professionals. During her role as editor, she introduced the first consumer nail title, Gloss, and expanded into the Middle East market with Scratch Middle East in 2014. In August 2021, Alex retired as the editor-in-chief at Scratch to focus on other nail industry projects including the launch of Glossarylive.com, alongside Nailympia Competitions as its global competition director. Alex's contributions to the industry include co-founding the Scratch Stars Awards in 2012 and has collaborated with industry professionals to create Nail Safari, a unique annual five-day education event. Currently sitting on the volunteer board of the UK's Federation of Nail Professionals (FNP), Alex remains dedicated to raising standards and celebrating global nail artists through her editorial role on GlossaryLive.com.

Working as a nail professional since 2009, Dafne Fernández, known for both her nail sculpture, structure and art skills, is the founder and owner of Stanzy Nails & Beauty, Botica Puré, Mano Santa Nail Art and the director of the Stanzy Academy in Mexico City. Dafne became globally renowned after taking the role of global educator for Artistic Nail Design from 2012-2018. A champion tech, Dafne has won accolades in Orlando, Vegas, Pasadena and at the first Nailympia Canada in 2019. She’s also the host of Nailympia Mexico and the forthcoming Nailympia Brazil.

“I wanted to host Nailympia in my region because I believe that competitions are necessary in order to build and grow as a nail professional. This activity sets high standards and challenges that a competitor must work through in order to participate. As each element of competition tests the nail tech, abilities are realised and then stretched, skills and creativity are raised and the nail professional finds their purpose as success is enjoyed.”
