Ombré Artistry

The ombré French, also known as the baby boomber nail or French fade, is a stylish nail design where the white tip blends into the back of the nail and merges into the pink. Creating this design is quite straightforward when working with liquid & powder beads, however it can be tricky when using the UV gel system. Fortunately there are two ways to solve this situation. In this Master Class, Giselle shares both her sponging and airbrushing techniques for the creation of a bouncing baby boomer nail.

Foundation of Nail Structure

Correct nail form fitting is essential when sculpting any shaped nail using hard gel, acrygel, or liquid and powder. In this episode learn how to carefully assess the nail form to fit both width and length too, in order to create a perfectly straight nail extension. When nail technicians want to exceed their limitations, to eveolve and move up to another level showcasing much more creativity with extravagant works of art, then this is a place to start. Designed especially for magazines, promotions, posters and presentations, the work must demonstrate advanced techniques with a flawless finish, nail perfection on an extreme nail. Just as fashion designers develop collections that incorporate day wear and extravagnant avant garde shapes and designs, the tech can do this in the nail realm. If a nail pro creates nails with very long length in original shapes and designs that are flawless, then surely their everyday working techniques will be elevated, inproved, admired and shortened.

French Twist

French Twist is common for competitions, and is a delicate yet classic form of French nail. it is usually made on a transparent extension, with the design encapsulated inside the free edge. This design draws maximum attention from clients, because being a transparent extension it creates a stained glass effect or 2-3D effect in depth. Every nail tech should try this at least once, because when created the result will amaze and stimulate the imagination to try more and clients will simply love it. It may seem difficult, but don't let that put you off, you will find the working time can be much shorter than with other seemingly simpler manicure styles.

The French manicure is one of the most requested manicure styles of all times as it's the most elegant, clean and versatile of all nail styles. Clients come in all types, tastes, and lifestyles, yet all have worn the French at some point. Max Estrada was born into the beauty industry and always had a strong belief in nail education and artistry. He started playing with his mother’s nail products and reading trade publications at a young age before starting his career in his family’s salon in Arizona. Entering his first competition at the tender age of 16 and already sporting quick and accurate acrylic techniques, Max placed in the top 10. Full of determination and a goal to improve his skills as well as conquer the competitive world of nails, Max focused on refining the nail shape and developing nail technologies that make the nail artist’s life easier. In 2014, Max invented his own product line, Exclusive Nail Couture Professional and today runs classes across the globe and online. An industry trendsetter, Max says, “The nail industry is not about where it has been, but where it’s going.”

Being born into the beauty industry & with more than 10 years of expertise & experience, Max Estrada has always had a strong belief in nail education & artistry. Max started playing with his mother’s nail products & reading trade publications at a very early age, even attending his first trade show at the age of 5. He started his professional career working in his family’s salon in Arizona. Within the first year, he aspired to grow bigger as a nail technician and decided to enter his first competition. At the tender age of 16 & already sporting a quick & accurate acrylic application, Max entered his first professional nail competition.

Confident in his work, Max competed & placed in the top 10 for his division & category. Full of determination, his goal was to improve his skills & conquer the competitive world of nails. Now, Max places in every competition he enters & his focus is on further refining the nail shape & developing nail technologies that make the nail artist’s life easier. He believes that the best competition to win is the one with yourself; always strive for your personal best. Max’s ultimate dream was to have the best products to complement his education for the nailcare industry. In 2014, he designed & invented his own product line, aptly titled Exclusive Nail Couture Professional. Today, Max competes all over the world & hones a true passion for his art.
