WATTAGE

WATTAGE [wot-ij]

What it is: A measure of how much electricity a bulb consumes. A watt is the basic unit of electric used to identify how much power a bulb is using.
How is it used: The higher the wattage on a bulb, the more it’s consumption of electricity is therefore it will cost more to run.
